Due to the North Korean threat, the South Korean ROKA is the sixth largest army in the world, fielding 560,000 soldiers, 2,100 tanks, 2,500 armoured vehicles and 5,600 artillery pieces. This publication grants for the first time an inside look into the vehicle pool and training of the army guarding the peace on the last Cold War front-line.
