SCHUTZE HILFSBUCH (RIFLEMAN'S HANDBOOK) (Hbk)

This book is one which every German soldier would have had access to both during his training and whilst he was on active service. It covers his uniform, equipment and weapons, and covers all the basic, hand-held infantry weapons. Although printed as a general information book by a private printer, the source of the material in the pamphlet was official. This means that all the information in the book is of great value to researcher, historian and re-enactor. The diagrams and photographs are self-explanatory, and even a smattering of German will enable the reader to gain access to information not published anywhere since the war ended.
