From the early days of ramjet-assisted piston fighters and Mikoyan's I-300 the story moves on to the MiG-9. Similarly the Yak-3-Jumo was the progenitor of the Yak-15 and designs up to the Yak-19 and Yak-25, the last of that bureaus straight-wing fighters.
