PASSCHENDAELE: THE BATTLE NINETY YEARS ON

We have now reached another 90th anniversary, that of the Battle of Passchendaele 1917. It was to be known simply as the Third Battle of Ypres but this conflict was far from simple, it became one of the major battles of the Great War, fought by British, ANZAC and Canadian soldiers. This commemorative magazine documents the events of Passchendaele - taking the reader through the various aspects of the battle piece by piece. It is intended to familiarise readers with a range of books by well known military authors which cover the subject in depth, describing the conflict through the eyes of the soldiers that fought there, illustrated by maps and photographs.
