history’s greatest aircraft, the F4U-1 Corsair
The book starts with a brief historical description of the airplane,
its design, development and combat service history and numerous photos covering
both wartime shots and preserved aircraft in full-colour. Worth attention are
the beautiful colour charts showing the servicing stencils arrangement and
detailed plans in scales 1:48 and 1:72. The model chapter describes and shows
building process of two models - the Trumpeter and the Tamiya.
