INDIAN ARMY AUGUST 1914-1922 PART 1 DIVISIONS

In World War I 5 Cavalry and Mounted Infantry Divisions, 18 Infantry Divisions and three Divisional areas were raised. Each theatre of operations has a chronology of events. Indian Divisions served in France and Flanders, Mesopotamia , Egypt and Palestine. Each division has its operational history, a list of the Brigades and Divisional troops that served with it together with the dates of their attachments and detachments.
