1. I am using the Search Button, but I cannot find a particular title
Barbarossa uses English English - and therefore not necessarily the title given by the American publisher. For example, the 'Aircraft Walk-around' and 'Armour Walk-around' series from Squadron/Signal are given as Walkaround by the publisher. That hyphen means you might not find a particular book. Experiment with the Search Button a bit. We retain American spelling of American units and place-names, for example 'Armored Division' and 'Pearl Harbor' and German nomenclature, for example 26.Panzer-Division

15. How much will postage cost?
UK Customers: for all orders under £80, postage is an additional 15 per cent, with a minimum of £4. All orders over £80 are shipped postage-free. Non-UK Customers: for all orders postage is charged at 20 per cent, with a minimum of £4. Orders to European Union countries always go air mail; orders to other European countries (non-European Union) and Rest of the World go surface mail. Air mail packages to non-EU European countries and Rest of the World are charged at cost - but pretty hefty, as books are weighty!

18. When can I expect to receive my order?
Most of the books listed are in stock and can be despatched quickly, but please allow at least 28 days for delivery in some cases, and many weeks for some imported books. Barbarossa sources stock from many hundreds of publishers and suppliers all around the world, so please be patient. All post is sent usually on a Friday, and more frequently just before Christmas. UK customers: expect a week for delivery. All Continental European shipments go air mail, and delivery times are five working days. All North and South American customers, shipments take about four to six weeks (surface mail) and one to two weeks (air mail). All Asian and Australasian customers should expect two to three months (surface mail) and two to three weeks (air mail).

20. Should I be worried about my order being lost in transit?
Barbarossa has had only a very few packages go astray in many years of trading, so there is no need to be concerned. However, should this occur to your order, please contact us for advice - please see 'When can I expect to receive my order?'

21. What is Barbarossa's policy on returns?
Barbarossa is pretty flexible about returns. However, you must refer to Barbarossa by telephone, e-mail or post before making any return. We reserve the right to refuse any return if not well-packed and therefore damaged in transit.

23.Why is there no indication of whether a book in in stock?
Barbarossa Books has 13,500 items on its website, and 7,000 in stock, with more stock coming in every day - and going out. It is therefore impossible to keep track of everything. Suffice it to say, most items are in stock and ready to ship.

24. Does submitting an order mean my credit card has automatically been charged?
No. You are only charged for the items sent; out-of-stock items are charged for at a later date.

25. You have supplied me with part of my order - what about the outstanding item(s)?
Any outstanding items are recorded for despatch when they come back in; you will be e-mailed if it transpires they are out-of-print.
