DIETRICH'S WARRIORS

The history of the 3.Kompanie 1.Panzer-Grenadier Regiment 1.SS-Panzer-Division "Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler" in World War II. The 3.Kompanie was formed in the summer of 1933 and this work looks briefly at its pre-war activities as part of Hitler's showpiece protection squad. The main focus is upon the 3.Kompanie's military actions between 1939-1945 and details the various battles that they took part in, which covered nearly every major campaign of the German Army. This work has been compiled with the help of former soldiers of the 3.Kompanie and the 1.SS Panzer Division, backed up with various other sources. It contains twelve original maps and 75 photographs - 35 of which are previously unpublished. In addition to detailing the 3.Kompanie's actions, this work also contains biographies on the various Kompanie Commanders, where information is available, and also biographies on the Battalion, Regimental and Divisional Commanders that they served under.
