DAS REICH TIGERS

Das Reich Tigers" chronicles the Tigers associated with "Das Reich" from the beginning to the bitter end: 8./SS-Panzer-Regiment 2 "Das Reich", schwere SS-Panzer-Abteilung 102, and schwere SS-Panzer Abteilung 502. This 410 page book features eight pages of colour artwork, four hundred photographs, forty-plus maps, many first-hand accounts, and exhaustive appendices listing unit positions, camouflage, markings, tank commanders, duty positions throughout the battalion, every existing monthly status report and a sampling of award recommendations. For the first time, this famous formation will receive a complete unit history devoted entirely to it. While the photographic coverage of the "Das Reich" boys was exhaustive in "Tigers in Combat Volume 2", this book will tie it altogether: maps, historical overview, first-hand accounts and lots of photographs. Although many of the photographs are previously unpublished, a number of the images have been seen before but now on excellent paper and with in-depth captions.
