ORDERING DETAILS

Please use the Shopping Cart, telephone direct, or send by e-mail. If ordering by post, be sure to print your order clearly, using the full title and product code to avoid confusion. All customers paying by Credit Card must state their home address. However, orders can be sent to an alternative address (for example, to work); in this case, please indicate both addresses in the Shopping Cart.

If you wish to use your Credit Card or Debit Card, we must have the Expiry Date and Security Code (the last three numbers on the signature strip), in addition to the long number. We cannot accept American Express or Diner’s Club.

UK customers wishing to pay by cheque or Postal Order, please send the full amount payable to Barbarossa Books.

Maestro and Solo cardholders must quote the number, expiry date, issue number (if available) and Security Code.

Payment is so easy - we take MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Solo and JCB.

PAYMENT - NON-UK
Overseas customers may pay by Credit Card, Girocheque (available through your Post Office), International Money Order (available through your Bank), a Bank Draft (in £ Sterling and drawn on a UK Bank), by Bank Transfer (all charges to be payable by customer). Cash in £ Sterling, US dollars or Euros may be sent, but at your own risk.

DVDs
All DVDs have Value Added Tax (VAT) included with the price quoted.

All books and DVDs are in English unless stated otherwise.

MAGAZINE SUBSCRIPTIONS

Magazine subscriptions already include postage, and should not be included by UK customers to bring their total order over the £60 postage-free threshold. UK and non-UK customers: rest assured that any additional postage automatically calculated by the Barbarossa website will be taken off by Barbarossa staff before your card is charged.

SPLIT DELIVERY
Any not-yet-published books or out-of-stock items can be ordered now; they will be recorded for you and despatched at a later date. UK customers can include such titles to reach the £60 postage-free threshold. No additional postage charges are made for such Split Deliveries. However, Barbarossa reserves the right to hold the initial part of any order should a not-yet-published book or out-of-stock item be available again within a reasonable time.

POSTAGE COSTS

UK Customers

Postage in the UK is 10% of book value, with a minimum of £2.00. For example, if you order a book at £7.99, postage is another £2.00 = £9.99. If you order book(s) at £22.98, postage is another 10% = £25.28.

ORDERS OVER £60 NET ARE POSTAGE FREE!

(UK only and excludes magazine subscriptions)

Packages below 2 kg are sent Royal Mail Second Class, and delivery takes around four working days (excluding weekends). Packages over 2 kg are sent via Fastway Couriers and take between two and five working days. We usually post on a Friday.

Overseas Customers

Postage overseas is 15% of book value, with a minimum of £2.00. For example, if you order book(s) totalling £15.99, with postage the amount will be £18.38.

European Union Countries and Rest of Europe

All packages are sent air mail as standard, so that you get your order as quickly as possible.

Rest of the World

All packages are sent surface mail. Air mail can be arranged, but this is expensive and charged at cost; if air mail is required please specify this in the Comments field of the Shopping Cart. As a guide, packages to the Far East and Australasia take two to three months surface and two to three weeks air mail. Please note: as a direct result of the 9/11 terrorist atrocity, shipments to the United States are subject to close scrutiny and possible delay by US Customs.

RETURNS

Most books are well described on this site. However, should any title not meet your specifications, you may return the book in good condition and within fourteen days of receipt for a replacement or refund. This guarantee is in addition to your statutory rights. Barbarossa Books may refuse a full refund if any returned items are damaged due to insufficient packing.

AVAILABILITY
Most of the books listed on this site are in stock and can be despatched quickly, but please allow at least 28 days for delivery in some cases and many weeks for some imported books.

CURRENCY

All transactions will be processed in £ Sterling. The use of the currency converter is to give you an indication of the cost in your chosen currency
