An illustrated history of the Royal Air Force's successful Polish-crewed bomber squadron during World War II, following them through their operations with Bomber, Coastal and Transport Commands. The main focus is on the Coastal Command's sorties against the U-boats in the Battle of the Atlantic. The Polish pilots flew, successively, Fairey Battles, Vickers Wellingtons and Warwicks - and operations with the latter aircraft have rarely been documented and described before. A rare look at a significant but often overlooked aspect of RAF operations in World War II.
