PLEASE NOTE: European Union orders are shipped via air mail as standard (peculiarly, this is cheaper than surface mail!). US, Canadian, South American, Asian and Australasian orders are shipped surface; if AIR MAIL is required, please specify this in the Comments Box when placing the order.

We have re-listed the complete range of Osprey Publications; see all the ranges by clicking the Main Category "Osprey Publications" to the left of this page. Please note we have stock of most of all the ranges and including many out-of-print titles. Ospreys go out-of-print but are then reprinted very quickly so a listing on this site includes a few titles that are temporarily unavailable - with over 1,000 titles it is impossible to keep track of what is temporarily unavailable. If in doubt, e-mail for advice on availability.

When placing an order via this site, your credit/debit card is NOT charged automatically; rather, it is done by a human and usually on the day the order is despatched.

Most of the books listed on this site are in stock and ready to ship. The absence of a front cover image does NOT mean the book is out-of-stock, merely that I have not got around to adding the image! Likewise, the presence of an image does not necessarily mean that the book is in stock.
Some items may have a price of 0.00. This does not mean the book is free (!), merely that a price is not currently known
Very occasionally, the prices disappear due to a technical glitch and this problem is only corrected when I check the site daily; we do apologise for the inconvenience if this happens and please feel free to e-mail me if you spot the problem occurring.
The Channel Islands is not listed in the drop-down seletion of counties and countries in the Shopping Cart; will CI customers select 'Hampshire'

SHIPMENTS TO RUSSIA
Unfortunately, too many shipments to Russia go astray. Therefore, with great regret Barbarossa Books has to announce that with immediate effect all shipments to Russia will be sent by Registered Post and the cost of this has to be passed on to our Russian customers.
SECOND-HAND BOOKS AND MODEL KITS
You may have noticed the addition of a new Main Category - second-hand books and model kits. They are all single copies, with some evidence of being used but most of very good or excellent condition, and most offered at extremely good prices to clear space in our warehouse. Order these via the Shopping Cart in the normal way, but it is important to be aware that postage will be charged at cost and not the normal 15% (UK) or 20% (Europe and ROW) of order. NB some items are not available for sale yet - they need to be price-checked and will be offered in due course.
